Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Carlos I — 24 Jul 2017
Just pain awesome. Loved setting it fitting Vietnam, loved the action, the design and the effects. They did wonders by not simply remaking the original classic again and setting apart. John C Reilly was a great addition, where I thought he'd be typical, cheap comedic value, he was the deepest character, with a satisfying conclusion.
And man, that end stinger... joygasm.
