Kong made a decent comeback in Kong: Skull Island. This is a monster flick done quite right. You would have seen so many King Kongs before this but it might just strike you as fresh. There are Nick Fury, Loki and Captain Marvel inside.
Give it a go and I'm pretty sure you will like it.
