Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Tor M — 01 Sep 2017
A crew consisting of some army fellas, scientists and a hot photographer is placed on an so far unvisited island in the Pacific. It does not take long before we are introduced to the great ape by the name of Kong. It turns out there's many other big creatures there, spiders, bisons and other more creative creatures, most of them unfriendly.
There are many wack happenings and loads of stupidity, but as pure entertainment this film is pretty solid. Nothing fresh accept from it's looks and effects, combined with great props and filming locations. It's a great film to digest and forget, and it will be both digested and forgotten within days.
