Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Edeltraud — 11 Mar 2017
CGI (or whatever techniques used to make beasts) & locations are great. Enjoyed the movie as I watched it, but later it left me flat. So much more could have been done with the characters' stories, the photographer & scientists got short shrift.
The natives were especially meh, no cool rituals or any action vis a vis Kong there. Overall, way too glossy, never felt the fear.
