Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Yosemite — 15 Mar 2017
Movie started off great. Nice pacing, good background music and casting seemed good. The movie weakened after the helicopters went down. Turned "we've seen this before" about 1/2 way into the film.
Stolen themes from other movies. Samuel Jackson as Captain Ahab. Brie Larson as the love interest in Mighty Joe Young. Killer animals from Jurassic Park.
