The Remake of the 2001 blockbuster is a fast and fun popcorn event — but that doesn’t bring much else to the table. Thin characters, multiple story clichés, plot holes and expositions doesn’t impress the critical self, but it’s still a splendid action piece of superb CGI that’s going to please the eye.
