It didn't fulfill my ulterior desire that I was looking for but I'll take it. Taking place in the 70s was a bonus since I just envy pre-21st century material especially in the 60-80s timeframe.
There were plenty of scenes that were entirely nonsensical to the film and stunted the story from moving forward, but eh what action movie doesn't have that nowadays. It mirrors Godzilla in a sense of becoming overhyped so I'm not too sure how I feel about their upcoming clash.
