Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Claribel T — 18 Jul 2017

Kong takes all the cliches of a monster film and multiples them by thousand and not in a good way. The hero/villain shots happen about twenty times for each character and only leave me hoping Kong kills everyone except John C.

Riley, as he is the only entertaining and earnest character in the whole film. I was bored during the slow motion fight scenes, and the so called inciting incident of one of the solider's death did nothing to push the plot along as everyone was already stuck in their mindset before the movie even started.
