Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by S P — 22 Aug 2017
The title of this review basically says it all. The best thing about it is the Black Sabbath sound track and what I call the helicopter sequence just before they meet the ape about half hour into the film.
Thats the only positive. The characters are dreadful. The period setting is all wrong - computers, black people, asians & women involved in military roles that never happened. Which is OK to do, its just so badly done, its like "we know its 21st century so just pretend" shallow lazyness.
Forget this piece of crap and watch Shin Godzilla instead.
