If you want/need 2 hours of Kong fighting other monsters and smashing unlikeable characters to bits, you will LOVE Kong: Skull Island - I did. It was wonderful cinema entertainment, though would inevitably lose impact on the small screen in your home.
It's nothing more or less than a silly, epic, mindless thrill-fest. Human characters have absolutely no substance whatsoever, but as soon as you see Kong, you won't care!
