Review of Kon-Tiki (2012) by Damjan R — 01 Jun 2013
Plot thin, and unimaginative, this is just about the most boring adventure film in recent memory. The story is poorly structured, as it offers no really tension or conflict between either man and nature or man and man.
If I was basically marooned in the middle of the ocean, I would be a little more on edge, but that's just me. The acting is quite underwhelming and the whole thing feels very under developed and under directed.
The visuals are nice and everything but that's not a saving grace. Not worthy of an Oscar nomination or watching for that matter, not recommended.
