Acting was very good, funny though in a quiet, sardonic fashion.

I felt one got a sense of place very well in terms of what it was like to be in a country under Russian control during the cold war.

While no great new truths are illustrated, it uses what I would characterize its small palette very effectively.

I recommend it to those who like that kind of thoughtful performance.
