Review of Kolya (1996) by Tim M — 22 Jan 2010
Finally saw Kolya. It was pretty obvious how the story would unfold, but wonderful actings made this movie so much more interesting. I could not tell if little Kolya was acting or if it was really him! The scene where Kolya was holding Louka's hand before they crossed the street, and where Kolya was imitating to talk to his grandma was so heartbreaking.
Nice touch at the end when Kolya was signing along what Louka was playing...
