Poor combination of a sci-fi psychological thriller and a disaster/end of the world flick (really not a match made in heaven). The film was too all over the place and off the wall to ever come across as coherent or smooth flowing.
Certainly had its exciting moments, though, and the action scenes were definitely impressive and heart-pounding, even if they were just there for shock value and to show off. But the bizarre sound track.
. WTF? And the acting.. ugh. And for a film that seems like it wants to paint a grim picture of a possible reality, it is way too unrealistic; the flavour just doesn't match the image. Bottom line: if you're in the mood for an f'ed up film or just some horrible Nicholas Cage hair, check out Knowing.
