Review of Knock Off (1998) by Fabien K — 09 Jan 2008
Utterly dumb and utterly incomprehensible movie that reeks of the straight to video garbage that it is.
Van Damme is a fashion salesman (I think) specialising in shoddy merchandise and this some how has something to do with some russians and the CIA. It doesn't sound gripping and it isn't. The script sounds like it was written in crayon by a 5 year old and the action scenes are confusing and bland. The entire last 20 minutes is one long fight with a lot of grunting that leaves the viwer bored to tears.
Knock Off? F**k off more like.
