Review of Knives Out (2019) by Jluis_001 — 11 Dec 2019
Deceptively simple but strangely addictive and intelligently constructed.
I really didn't know what to expect about this film. I mean I knew the reviews had been good and the truth is that I was really interested because of Rian Johnson and the amazing cast he gathered.
And the film responded with good stuff, at least in my perspective. While it's true that you quickly sense who's responsible, the plot is pretty good and hooks you up since the first minute.
The suspense never falters drastically, with the exception of some slowdowns in the rhythm. Even so, Knives Out it's quite an entertaining experience and I loved that.
Very well done mainstream cinema outside franchises.
It's well known that we need a lot of it, so go watch this film.
