Review of Knife in the Water (1962) by Matt G — 11 Feb 2010
Tense and casual at the same time, Polanski allows the story to rely solely on the mannerisms of his characters and his manipulation of the pace. Visually striking as well, in ways that maestro Antonioni would cherish.
Simple, engaging, jazzy little film.
