Review of Kiss of the Spider Woman (1985) by Marquita M — 27 Aug 2007
I've seen two versions of this play, but, sadly, neither were theatre productions. I chose this one because the chemistry between William Hurt and Raul Julia on-screen is incredible. Fascinating and captivating.
.. cliche, but that's how I feel about it. The subject matter is powerful enough, but Hurt's sensitive portrayal of 'Malena' has stayed with me for over 15 years.
