Review of Kiss Me Deadly (1955) by Anthony L — 26 Jan 2010
A noir film with everything. Every character archetype, hidden identities, triple entendre dialogue, and an crazy sci-fi ambiguous apocalyptic ending (be sure to see the 'newly restored' ending, it's only 10 seconds longer, but the timing is perfection) Also, watch for a brilliant scene where Hammer methodically asks someone for information, demands it, bribes for it, and then finally leans over and slaps it out of the guy.
This is Cloris Leachman's first major role!!
