Wonderfully bizarre and over-the-top noir thriller. Mike Hammer is perhaps noir's most perverse hero who pimps out his secretary and take pleasure in inflicting pain. One of the best intros in film history, one of the most enduring tropes in the mysterious suitcase and an ending to end them all.
