Review of Kinky Boots (2005) by Ambergaye — 05 Jun 2008
This is a movie about characters. The plot is paper thin, the camera work uninspired. The characters, however, are complicated and interesting enough to carry the whole movie, and the actors did a superb job portraying them.
The costume department should also be well-rewarded for its contributions to drag-wear. The musical medley at the end was also quite fantastic. Don't see this movie if you require a complicated or dense plot.
Everyone else, this is an enjoyable movie indeed.
