Based on actual events, this is a film about a floundering shoe company that must find a way to survive the changing economyâ¦which eventually leads to the production of said âkinky bootsâ?, sturdy but sexy high heeled boots made for cross-dressing men.
Produced by the same men who made Calendar Girls a success, this story is told with a genuine flare and a good heart made all the more impressive by Chiwetel Ejioforâ(TM)s brilliant acting. Though not a cinematic masterpiece, itâ(TM)s a sweet film none the less.
