Review of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV (2016) by Tom T — 22 Aug 2016

This is probably the most technically accomplished animated movie to date. Blows the doors off of most everything and is arguably better than even Pixar and Disney's newest releases. The action is eye popping and intense. I seriously wish this was available in DBOX!

There are a few lip sync issues, but the film was originally recorded in Japanese and then reanimated to match the English dub, so it's already going beyond the usual for a foreign film. The cast for the dub is great as well, with convincing performances given for everyone except the princess, whose character seems the most flawed.

The story is standard and not nearly as hard to follow as the critics are saying. But if you are not familiar with video game imagery, I can see how they could get confused.
