Review of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV (2016) by Nomadxt — 06 Dec 2016

This is NOT a great movie. By all accounts it can be a little jarring fro those who are not used to Final Fantasy's weirdness. Also, the acting is really bad. This movie is best watched in the original Japanese as it plays out like a good anime.

Its visually striking and if you are open minded the old dungeons and dragons feel mixed with modern day setting will be interesting to you. The Characters are likeable but the plot is a little thin and obvious.

But then again. What were you expecting. If you watched this movie it was probably in preperation as an introduction to the game. Which it serves its purpose for. It's essentially a very long cutscene to the game and in that regard, for fans, it was great.

I enjoyed it. But it still doesnt hold up to a great movie. Hence the 6 I granted it.
