Review of Kingdom of Heaven (2005) by Stu C — 27 Feb 2011

I saw the original theatrical release of this one, but having managed to get hold of the Extended Edition, it once again has all the hallmarks of a vast Ridley Scott production; stunning set-pieces, great attention to detail & all the action you could possibly warrant.

The extended version actually for once is worth the investment as it gives you a chance to see the 'vision as it was meant to be seen' according to director Scott adding in more of a detailed storyline involving Green's complex relationship with Balian.
