Review of Kingdom of Heaven (2005) by James B — 11 Oct 2010

This is for the Director's Cut of Kingdom of Heaven, not that craptacular theatrical cut that Fox had Ridley Scott put out.

You know a director's cut is worth seeing when it basically shows a different movie.

This Cut adds whole new subplots and really expands on so many of the characters.

Even Orlando Bloom, who I'm still not completely sold on, is given more room to breathe and actually becomes quite likeable.

This feels like a full blown movie now.

Hell, the sheer amount of special features will make film enthusiasts smile:).

I highly recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in films to give this cut a shot.

I doubt you will be disappointed.

NOTE: The blu ray cut lacks most of the features of the regular dvd cut. But if you're not interested in special features (Though there is an exorbiant amount to delve into), just pick it up for a rental on blu ray and on dvd for keeps...or both if you have the money.
