An epic that was not as good as I had expected. Most of the acting was OK at best (especially Orlando Bloom) and the historical accuracies were quite off. While I love Eva Green, I still had a tough time believing she was Sibylla and she and Bloom's Balian would have a relationship.
It was far-fetched even for a film. Same goes for Liam Neeson's Godfrey. Edward Norton's Baldwin stole every scene and the underrated Jeremy Irons was perfect as Tiberias. However, that could not make this film great.
Lots blood and guts and action; highly recommend this film if one likes that sort of thing.
