Review of King Richard (2021) by Delayedreviews — 30 Jan 2022
Maybe it's because I like underdog stories. Maybe I related Richard's journey to my own immigration story. I recall the main criticism of this film being giving the fathers too much credit and giving Venus and Serena too little credit.
Serena will get her movie, but this is Richard's movie. Great people tend to come from great parenting. May I am just biased. But the cinematography is decent, the casting is solid, Will (even after all the red table talk bs JUST STOP DOING THAT SHOW AND RUINING MY CHILDHOOD) did such a decent job, I would put my foot down and say this is the beginning of his comeback.
