Nostalgia, ridiculous premise and John Goodman. I am sorry I am failing to see the what this film is missing. Criticize if you like but this film also boasts John Hurt, Richard Griffiths and Peter O'Toole! The film is charming and will always take me back to my childhood where ridiculous films were OK even if they weren't about vampires in love.
