Review of King Ralph (1991) by Steve Allister F — 17 Oct 2007

I love this movie. ...Not alot of people have seen it. It's hilarious. John Goodman is Ralph Jones of Las Vegas. The ENTIRE British royal family has just died in a freak accident. Ralph is a distant descendant of the family.

He is now the new King of England! He's picked up in Vegas playing piano in a night club, and is whisked off to London, England. But Ralph is different, he's American, he loves rock and roll, he's a party animal, he's not an upstanding, sophisticated person worthy of King.

While in England, Ralph makes quite a scene, and is threatened to be kicked off of his throne, but he does his best. He meets a stripper named Miranda Greene, and really starts to like her. This movie also stars Peter O'Toole.
