Review of King of New York (1990) by Taimur I — 16 Nov 2009
This is a modern day re-telling of Robin Hood. That is if Robin Hood was played as a psychotic gangster by the awesome Christopher Walken in one of his most famous roles. This dark tale of a crimelord recently released from prison and seeking to reclaim his throne is one of the great cult classics of the 90s and deserves its status.
Christopher Walken typically exudes cool and the film is watching for his performance alone.
