Some excellent shoot-outs and surprises. Rap back then was so terrible! So much has changed in 20 years, the music, directing, effects, dialogue, wardrobe and Fishburne's grill a sad reminders of a sinister era.
Needs to be remade badly, there are so many humorous parts that were probably meant to be thrilling. The story, except for the end, holds up very well. Walken should have been portrayed more like an anti-hero than a villain, and him dying without the hospital opening was trash.
The conclusion is unexpected and unfulfilling.
