Review of King of California (2007) by Ayyaz A — 12 Feb 2009
An indie movie that entertains you till the very end mainly through its acting. The script is of a simplistic nature and therefore depended solely on the actors for its success. A result it achieved by some brilliant acting from both Douglas and Wood, who continues to impress with every venture.
The chemistry between Douglas and Wood as father and daughter was unquestionable. It felt they were competing against each other and it only made the movie better.
A movie that leaves you satisfied on all counts as a viewer.
