Review of King Kong Lives (1986) by Thomas N — 12 Jun 2011

Unlike everybody else I actually enjoyed this film as a child and still enjoy it to this day. We get King Kong back in action, a female Kong (which I like to call Queen Kong), and in the end we even get the son of Kong. King Kong eats people, squashes people, annihilates an army! What more could a person ask for? I think people just had too high of expectations when going into this film. I think much of its criticism also comes from the fact that its not realistic enough. Hello!!!! Its a movie with giant apes its not going to be realistic.

I personally would have loved to have seen a third one of course with the title Son Of Kong.
