Review of King Kong (1933) by Patrick H — 28 Dec 2009
This is such an important film! Merian Cooper was a visionary to be able to pull this together. Willis O'Brien's visual effects and stop motion animation are pioneering and forever changed film.
Max Steiner's score was just as pioneering. Everything comes together to create a fantastic cinematic experience that has influenced more filmmakers than any other work.
