Review of King Kong (1933) by Hayley D — 26 May 2010
It's everything you expected it to be, but nothing more. Personally, I really liked it, but it is very outdated. At moments, it may seem silly, but there is no denying that this film will live in infamy.
Fay Wray was beautiful and charming, but all she does is scream through half the movie. However, I loved this version better than the others because it's simply THE original. I liked Peter Jackson's version, but as for the Jessica Lange version.
.. I'm not even going to go there.
