Review of King Kong (1933) by Brad G — 30 Sep 2010
"It's money and adventure and fame! It's the thrill of a lifetime!" King Kong is the ultimate monster movie and if you do not fall absolutely, madly in love with this Beauty & The Beast tale than you just simply don't like movies.
Robert Armstrong's manly man director risks the life of himself and his crew to capture the ultimate adventure on film and really just brings havoc and death to New York City. Willis O'Brien's original stop motion effects are just as amazing today as they were then and you will fall in love with not just Kong, but all of the beastly inhabitants of Skull Island.
A true cinematic masterpiece. VF.
