Review of King Kong (1933) by Robert O — 13 Feb 2011
I am less a King Kong fan than Frankenstein and Dracula. Even so, there is something about this version that appeals to me. The later versions are unwatchable, as far as I am concerned.
In order to function properly within a society, one must know its stories. This is something Americans should be familiar with. Fay Wray was glamorous.
