Review of King Kong (1933) by Robyn M — 22 Aug 2012
"The Greatest Expedition mankind has created to date...".
I did a no-no by reviewing the remake from 2007, but in this rare case it was actually a benifit for my viewing experience of the orginal. The 1933 version turned heads back in it's era, for it's technical and creative aspect. And amazingly enough still does. With a swift and now comical script, It's special effects of stop and go animation are much appreciated for the percise delicate intercacy's and eye for detail.
