This movie wins me over for just how ambitious it was for its time. Its effects look very weird but I am okay with that seeing how it is very creative with how it uses them. The dialogue at times is kinda odd but I'll let it pass since this was made only four years after sound films were introduced.
It has a great script and has likable characters. what else can you say?
