Review of King Arthur (2004) by Don C — 12 May 2010
I don't understand the panning of this film. Its supposed to be something we've never seen before, kind of a story behind the legend thing, and done realistically enough that we don't have to question how magic and whatnot is done.
The strategies involved in the war-fare are mind-blowingly executed, the characters are acted out well, and it really gives you a sense of how screwed things got for Arthur and his knights while it manages to tug on your heartstrings when it shows you first hand what war can do.
So screw you guys, this is a personal favorite of all time.
