Review of Kindergarten Cop (1990) by Baurushan J — 02 Jul 2012
The story is about Det. John Kimble and his partner Phoebe who are after a notorious drug dealer Cullen Crisp and his rabid mother Eleanor. John learns that Cullen is searching for his ex-wife and his little boy, and Kimble plans go undercover as the rare male kindergarten teacher which starts out horribly annoying when he gets easily frustrated but it quickly goes into his control when he uses his police abilities to get them into his hands and the school to find out who Cullen and Eleanor are really looking for.
Kindergarten Cop is light-hearted with the ARNOLD portion leading it's way in the movie. It has the funniest jokes/chemistry between Arnold and the kids, I mean the children are the most creative and fully developed as well without being stereotypes.
I love the front poster where he's on the front looking after seven kids and the writing also resembles how children do write back then in school or how the teachers would write for them. Kindergarten Cop gets a 10/10.
