Review of Killshot (2008) by Paxton L — 25 Mar 2009
The opening scene is perfect...the final scene is and little twist is great...the rest of the movie is mediocre at best. Rourke really sets himself apart from the rest of the cast as the hitman...cold, methodical, intelligent, and brutal. I just wanted him on screen and no one else.
The biggest problem with the film is the pacing. It feels like they felt it was too long for a thriller type movie so they ripped a lot out...not sure if that made it better or worse. It's worth a DVD rental.
