Review of Killshot (2008) by Pete S — 20 Aug 2010
You're want the audience to buy that in a Federal Witness Protection Program you are going to immediately go back to your old lives just because the two contract killers, under a mob boss, are supposedly dead.
(And how does DNA evidence prove a match when the sample comes from the post-mortem, recently torched corpse of the guy's brother?) I could go on, but it's just not worth it. Despite the bad story, I never really paid attention to Mickey Rourke's acting skills until now.
And I even loved seeing THE GORGEOUS Rosario Dawson in a small role playing this pathetic woman. Joseph GL playing a skummy character was a bit refreshing. (Though he plays such a wide variety of characters it's not surprising.
) Thomas Jane was good too. Too bad the story was so painfully incredulous.
