Review of Killing Zoe (1993) by Cody Y — 19 Jun 2007
The film just works. The gun play and characters are over the top, sure, but Avary has an interesting style, definitely more visually acute than Tarantino, though the dialogue suffers without Quentin. Plus, scenes interpretting the effects of drug use are always fun (minus the hangover and possible heart attack).
