A very stylish crime tale that carries a political message along with it. It's very brutal and graphic at times with a very gritty feel to the whole film. Quite a slow burner at times it finally gets going at a quicker paces about two thirds of the way in.

A bit more action and less drawn out dialogue scenes, for the sake of it rather than needed at that, would have made it better in my opinion. However with a cast like this you can just sit back and enjoy the story.
