Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by Stefano L — 26 Oct 2013
I really liked the style Andrew Dominik gave to this movie. He alternated a very simple direction for the biggest part of the film, with no camera moves at all, to parts that were completely at the opposite (the scene of the kill of Markie is super amazing).
But then, the story was very poor, the cast composed with a lot of big names didn't do anything exceptional. As said by one of the critics here under, the film collapses under the weight of the director's narcissism.
