Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by James R — 28 Nov 2013
Enjoyed this film. It's about a group of men who rob a mob protected poker game, which leads the mob sending in their man Jackie Cogan played by Brad Pitt to enforce some order. The movie is not that long, but it goes at a pretty slow pace.
I enjoyed it though because it sets up the characters and the storyline. There's not a lot of violence, but the film moves through the dialogue of the characters. Overall, I'd say rent it for lost people although some film buffs may enough the underlying message of political and economical differences it brings up.
