Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by Serge L — 28 Feb 2015
A mob story with nice realism, bloody good effects and correct casting. Rather intelligently made with a story we can believe in. We see the mob in plain action. Nothing out of the ordinary. We feel sad for the last dumb mobster to be killed.
According to this, the mob is simply the jungle. It doesn't have any feeling to eliminate the feeble... minded. The smart mobsters end up on top.But on reflection, the top mob is barely less dumb than their dumb ones.
Even the enforcer does come as an idiot to do what he does for who he does for the amount he gets. Very enjoyable... and also to be outside such realm.
