Review of Killing Them Softly (2012) by Ryan L — 14 Nov 2013
Brad Pitt is excellent, as always. STRANGE structure, and Pitt does not even appear until the second act. Very slow developing, with a lot of Guy Ritchie style-ized violence and WAY TOO MUCH ENDLESS TALKING.
Pitt delivers a particularly powerful line, and the movie just stops. Odd, abrupt ending. The political crap is overbearing and heavy-handed. I liked it better the 2nd time, mainly due to Pitt and McNairy.
